Our response to COVID-19 efforts
Friends, with the feeling of uncertainty, we wanted to take a moment to reassure you all that we are here for you. We are doing our very best to protect our staff and customers while maintaining the ability to spread love and joy within our community.
We have always carried 75% locally grown products however during the months of August and September we are supporting our BC Flower Growers as much as possible. Their beautiful blooms are grown with a higher standard of environmental regulation and their transportation to us is a relativity small distance, thus the quality we are used to at Brown’s will be continued. We do ask for your understanding if there is a need to substitute colour or variety however we continue to guarantee freshness!! Just like everyone else, we have amped up our cleaning procedures in our shops. Delivery drivers are taking care to sanitize their vehicles and wash their hands regularly. Our team is our greatest asset at Brown’s, rest assured we do take this very seriously and are working to spread out shifts to minimize too many working at one time. We are grateful for all the government is doing to protect citizens and businesses during this time, and will do all we can to make sure that the team has what they need during this time including being asked to stay home.
We believe that it is our duty to be messengers of love, cheer, hope, and comfort when times are difficult. Because of this, we will do all that we can to continue to serve the community. Our doors are open, and we are delivering. You may still send flowers or plants to the ones you love, even if you or they are self-isolating. We can deliver in hand, or leave flowers at the door. We can deliver to your car if you order to pick up at one of our shops upon request.
In keeping with spreading joy during difficult times, we will continue to be a bright light on social media posting content that is happy and fun with flowers and plants galore to help distract temporarily from this current reality.
Because of the nature of our business and our ability to adapt, we have successfully navigated our way to stay open the past 2 years during these times. We are proud and grateful to our team and amazing customers for the support and will continue to adapt as needed.
