Light:
Schefflera plants flourish in areas with a lot of light. Care for scheffleras by placing them in rooms with bright filtered or indirect light. The foliage of your Schefflera arboricola plants will turn yellow and drop if there is insufficient light.
Water:
Water Schefflera liberally spring through fall, allowing the soil to dry out slightly in between waterings. Water sparingly in the winter.
Temperature:
Prefer average warmth, minimum of 12 °C in the winter.
Fertilizer:
Schefflera houseplants perform best when a balanced (20-20-20) liquid fertilizer is applied monthly during growth.
Potting:
If necessary re-pot schefflera plants in spring using a soil-based or standard potting mix. Allow the plant to become accustomed to the new soil before continuing any fertilization routines. Schefflera arboricola plants can also be grown outdoors in moist, humus-rich soil.
